World Builders Inc.

World Builders Inc. is the group undergraduate senior thesis exhibition Goswami co-curated with fellow BFA Art + Technology candidates Alex Mendoza, Macy Lamers, and Alex Kirkpatrick. All four worked together through to secure the venue, finalize the layout and publicity of the show, install the show, and host a public reception.

 

The 2023 cohort came down to the notion that they like to world-build through their works. Whether it be speculative and self-reflective as Goswami's, environmental and immersive as Mendoza's, emotive and autobiographical as Lamers's, and surreal and gut-wrenching as Kirkpatrick's, they are creating works that help one relate to what exists in this world. Showcasing their worlds at the Gary R. Libby Focus Gallery from May 4, 2023, to May 6, 2023, their graduation weekend, this is also a send-off for the 2023 cohort and 2022-2023 DAMN officers as they step out beyond UF School of Art + Art History.
