Fascinated by the development of the technologies involved in making cinema, Goswami "montages” the evolution of the cinema camera through this diptych print. The camera is to montage as the paper is to collage. The lifespan for each model of a camera being developed tends to be ephemeral. One after the other continues to develop, making each one obsolete in comparison to the next.
